About Us

A small, intimate daycare with a big family heart.

Nadia Rifat Family Daycare is a neighbourhood daycare centre serving Saskatoon families with trusted early childhood education. As a provincially licensed family daycare home providing small-group care in a residential setting, our facility caters well to families who prefer a smaller, more intimate environment with fewer children.

We serve the Saskatoon community by providing licensed early learning services for local families. Local centres form a critical part of Canadian neighbourhood infrastructure — enabling parents to work while their children are cared for in a supervised, structured environment guided by provincial frameworks.

What happens if Nadia is sick?+

We keep a trusted, vetted backup caregiver on call for occasional short absences and give families as much notice as possible. Our licensing framework requires a documented backup plan.

What are your group sizes?+

We keep group sizes small — typically 5 to 8 children — so every child gets meaningful individual attention in a home-like setting.

Do you provide meals?+

Yes. Nutritious meals and snacks are prepared fresh on-site each day in a nut-free kitchen. See our sample weekly menu above.

What ages do you care for?+

Our programs are designed for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 1–5), with mixed-age interaction throughout the day.

Do you accept the $10-a-day subsidy?+

Yes, we participate in Saskatchewan's $10-a-day child care initiative. Ask us for the current out-of-pocket rate for your family.

Can I tour the daycare with my child?+

Absolutely — the best way to know if we're the right fit is to schedule a tour. Bring your little one along and see how they respond. Trial visits are free.
